Good Afternoon Mr. Joiner
I am replying to this email as this is exactly what I am planning on doing when I retire. I am 59 and own a manufacturing company and that is something on my mind coming up in the next few years. Not for profit but just for pleasure.
My question is I am seeking someone like you that I could pay for me to come and spend a few days getting the basics of clock repair. Maybe talking about the most common repair issues that come up and adjusting the movement for correct time. I understand there is much more to it but that would give me a good starting point. I have a shop I have started and have been taking movements apart and reassembling and have got a couple fixed but really not sure how I did.
I live in Alabama but I canât seem to find anyone that I could do that with. What few clock repair shops around are extremely too busy to assist me and thatâs completely understandable. I have books and watch videos but I thrive being to see and ask questions. If thatâs something you might consider let me know.
