  • Seth Thomas regulator #2

I am always on the lookout for clocks on my wish list and constantly scour the online for-sale sites. Those with a strike-through have been acquired.

Some of the clocks on my list will be expensive as most are very desirable by collectors and have therefore held their prices over the years but I might just get lucky, find what I am looking for and pay a fair price. In the meantime my search continues.

As I acquire those I am looking for I will cross them off my list and feature them on this blog.

  1. I have a German Mauthe wall clock-westminster chime.
It was my Grandmother’s. Can you tell me anything about this clock?
Since you are an expert, I was hoping you could tell me it’s value.
    Thank you.

    1. I am by no means an expert just an enthusiast. However, if you have a photo of your clock I might be able to find out some things about it. From your very brief description it sounds like a German “box clock” typical of the 1920s or 1930s but I won’t know till I see it.
