Wish list

wall clock
Arthur Pequegnat Regulator #1

This is my wish list. I would love to have all of these clocks but some are much more expensive than I can afford. As I acquire more knowledge I might add to this list but for now this is it!

  • Arthur Pequegnat Regulator #1 wall clock
  • Arthur Pequegnat Moncton, time-only, double spring 15-day movement – ACQUIRED – summer 2018
  • Seth Thomas regulator #2 – ACQUIRED – summer 2018
  • English 8-day Fusee clock
  • Banjo clock – time only and weight driven
  • Martin Cheney wall or tall case clock
  • French or English bracket clock
  • French or American crystal regulator – ACQUIRED – summer 2018
  • Vedette or Girod time and strike wall clock
  • Vienna Regulator miniature wall clock – one weight – ACQUIRED – Fall 2016

I am constantly scouring online for-sale sites, Facebook etc. and searching for clocks in antique stores.

Some of the clocks on my list are expensive but if the price is right I will make serious esquires. Many of these clocks are on the lists of serious collectors .

  1. I have a German Mauthe wall clock-westminster chime.
It was my Grandmother’s. Can you tell me anything about this clock?
Since you are an expert, I was hoping you could tell me it’s value.
    Thank you.

    1. I am by no means an expert just an enthusiast. However, if you have a photo of your clock I might be able to find out some things about it. From your very brief description it sounds like a German “box clock” typical of the 1920s or 1930s but I won’t know till I see it.
